Attach the staves to the tank to ensure consistent contact with the wine during the desired aging period.

Contact duration: 

  • A contact time of between 2 and 5 months is optimal in order to extract the full potential of the wood.

Recommended dosage: 

Medium

Incorporation time: Alcoholic fermentation & Ageing

Dosages:

  • White & Rosé :  1 to 4 g/L, or 0.5 to 2 staves/hL
  • Red : 2 to 6 g/L, or 1 to 3 staves/hL

Storage:
The staves must be stored in their original packaging, in a dry, odor-free warehouse before use.
