Our barrels are made from 100% French oak, with a mix of fine and medium grain. With a capacity of 225 L and a thickness of 27 mm, the bung hole has a diameter of 50 mm. Except for the bung stave, the body pieces are bi-layered. The heads are traditional.

The products are suitable for food contact in accordance with EC Regulation No. 1935/2004 of 27/10/2004 and are manufactured in compliance with EC Regulation No. 2023/2006 of 22/12/2006. The barrels contain gluten.

The staves are assembled to form bi-layer shell pieces. These pieces are then shortened, dressed, and jointed to form the barrel body.

For the rest, nothing changes: our barrels are assembled and toasted in the cooperage using traditional methods.
