In the scope of the www.twood.fr website, HEGEMOAK may collect and process your personal data.
The purpose of this privacy policy is to inform you on our personal data processing system and your related rights (the “Privacy Policy”).
- DEFINITIONS
“HEGEMOAK” refers to HEGEMOAK, a company incorporated in France under the form of simplified limited liability company (société par actions simplifiée) with a share capital amounting to 70.000 Euros, whose registered office is located at Avenue de Gimeux, 16100 Merpins, France, registered under number 849 980 009 RCS Angoulême.
“Personal Data” referred to any data related to a natural person that may be directly or indirectly identified.
“Website” refers to the HEGEMOAK website available at www.twood.fr.
- DATA CONTROLLER
HEGEMOAK acts as data controller as provided in the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data known as the “General data protection regulation” and the French Law n°18-17 of January 6th, 1978, referred to as the “Data Protection and Freedom of Information Act” (the “GDPR Regulation”).
- PERSONAL DATA
HEGEMOAK processes mainly Personal Data of users and Website clients.
These Personal Data may include, in particular, information relating to the following:
- Identity: last name, first name;
- Contact information: email address, phone number;
- Professional background: company name, job title;
- Browsing data: IP address, information about users’ devices and browsers, cookies and trackers (for more information on the cookies we use, click here).
- PURPOSE – LEGAL GROUNDS
Personal Data is collected and processed to enable HEGEMOAK to:
a) Create and manage clients accounts for Website users;
b) Manage orders, delivery, returns, and after-sales service for Products;
c) Process any requests and/or claims from Website users and/or clients;
d) Communicate information regarding HEGEMOAK’s products, services, and events;
e) Ensure the proper functioning of the Website and optimize the user experience on the Website;
f) Conduct analyses and compile statistics;
(the “Purposes”).
The process of Personal Data is necessary:
- for the performance of contractual and/or precontractual obligations for the Purposes described in sections a) and c) above; or
- to meet HEGEMOAK’s legitimate interests for the purposes described in sections (d) through (f) above.
Some cookies are processed by HEGEMOAK based on the user’s consent.
In the context of its commercial relationship, HEGEMOAK may use some Personal Data to prospect, provided it holds the express and prior consent of the related persons
- RECIPIENTS
Personal data collected may be received by either:
- HEGEMOAK, OENEO and its subsidiaires; and/or
- Shopify ;
the carriers in charge of delivering the Products of the Website.
HEGEMOAK may use subcontractors for certain technical services, for example the Website hosting and the communication of information related to its products, services and events. In such cases, HEGEMOAK will ensure the conditions of access to the Personal Data by such subcontractor are contractually defined.
For the Purposes set out above, HEGEMOAK may transfer Personal Data to a country outside the European Union. In such cases, HEGEMOAK ensure the conditions of such transfer are contractually defined in compliance with the GDPR Regulation in force.
- PERSONAL DATA COLLECTION CONDITIONS
Personal Data (i) required for the performance of precontractual obligations and/or the establishment of a contractual relationship or (ii) with an asterisk on the Website are mandatory.
Any other Personal Data is a facultative data allowing HEGEMOAK to meet the Purposes above.
Personal Data processing activities implemented by HEGEMOAK do not include any automated data processing decisions.
- RETENTION PERIOD
Personal Data are retained for a period of:
- three (3) years after the end of the business relationship and up to five (5) years for the purposes of managing legal disputes regarding the Personal Data of clients, intermediaries, suppliers, and service providers;
- three (3) years from the last contact for the Personal Data of Website users;
- thirteen (13) months from the time of storage on the user’s device for Personal Data collected via cookies used on the Website.

- VERSION – UPDATE
The Privacy Policy currently available on the Website is the only version enforceable until its replacement by a new version. HEGEMOAK reserves the right to modify or update the Privacy Policy at any moment and without prior notice.
