Our staves are made from 100% French oak. Two levels of toasting are available: “medium” and “medium+” to provide targeted and varied organoleptic profiles. 

With contact times ranging from 2 to 5 months during aging, our staves offer two complex aromatic profiles.

  • Dimensions of 7mm staves:
    • 950mm x 50mm x 7mm, 2 holes drilled, 14mm diameter
  • Packaging
    • 8kg PET-PE bag containing 40 staves weighing +/- 200 grams, 2 ties provided.
    • Pallet of 48 x 8kg packages, i.e. 384kg

Usage
Staves

Attach the staves to the tank to ensure consistent contact with the wine during the desired aging period.

Contact duration: 

  • A contact time of between 2 and 5 months is optimal in order to extract the full potential of the wood.

Recommended dosage: 

Medium

Incorporation time: Alcoholic fermentation & Ageing

Dosages:

  • White & Rosé :  1 to 4 g/L, or 0.5 to 2 staves/hL
  • Red : 2 to 6 g/L, or 1 to 3 staves/hL

Storage:
The staves must be stored in their original packaging, in a dry, odor-free warehouse before use.

Our barrel offer consists of a mixed grain barrel available in 4 toast levels to ensure simplicity and accessibility. No grain selection is possible.

What are the delivery times?

Delivery times vary depending on your postal code, typically between 4 and 7 days.

Can I modify or cancel my order?

Orders can be modified with our prior agreement before shipment. Once the products have been handed over to the carrier, no modification or return will be possible.

How can I track my order?

You will receive regular updates regarding your order status: confirmation when the carrier takes charge, then an SMS with the estimated delivery date, and a final SMS on the day of delivery.

What payment methods are accepted?
